SCHÖNEBEN SKI AREA

SCHÖNEBEN SKI AREA: Schöneben is a large cross-country skiing area located near the Hochficht ski area, at an elevation of 1000 m above sea level. There are a number of circuits available, which are divided according to difficulty and length. One of the trails leads directly to the parking lot at the lower lift station in the Hochficht ski resort. The Böhmerwaldarena Schöneben provides a range of amenities for visitors, including a running school, ski equipment rental, and changing rooms with toilet facilities. Refreshments, information boards and toilets are available along the trails. All of this is situated on some of Austria’s highest-quality cross-country skiing trails.
