ROŽMBERK CASTLE

ROŽMBERK CASTLE: Rožmberk Castle was constructed in the 13th century and is one of the oldest castles belonging to the Vítkovci noble family, who were the ancestors of the noble Rožmberk family. The castle offers three sightseeing routes: Private Rooms, Collections of the Buquoy noble family, and the English Tower. The castle also organises evening costumed tours, which must be booked in advance. From November to March, tours are available at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on weekdays (with the exception of Mondays), and on weekends from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, with tours departing every hour. Please note that in April and October, tours are only available on weekends. In the summer season (May to September), tours are available every day except Mondays.
